Eating & Shopping @ Bugis - 26 Nov 08

Neo and I went to Bugis for dinner that day. Actually we got no idea where to eat so we walk ard from B1 to Level 1 and we spotted this Japanese restaurant - Shokudo Japanese Coffee House. It reminds me of one of my favorite game - Sudoku. Haha... We decided to give it a try...
I was attracted to the menu coz all the food seems so nice and i was really very hungry that day. Felt like eating everything but of coz there is only 2 of us so we restrict ourselves abit. End up Neo ordered a chicken cutlet pasta. We were amazed by the portion!!! The chicken cutlet is super big and covers almost the whole plate!!!!
I ordered a Katsu Omu Rice which came with a small bowl of curry. The only not so-good abt this is that the rice is plain rice.. I thought it will be tomato rice but overall it taste not too bad...
We can't resist the temptation of ordering a Rosti. But we ordered the cheapest one which is a plain Rosti. Keke...
For drinks, i ordered my favorite - Ice Yuzu Tea, whereas Neo ordered a Oolong Float. I loved mine and end up drinking 2 glasses...
Actually there still plenty of food we would like to try (e.g. Pizza, dessert, etc) but there is only 2 of us so we had a BRILLIANT idea. We called one of our colleague - SH and jio her to come along. Our motive is that we can try more dishes. Haha... SH is really sporting enough to travel all the way from office down to Bugis.. But then by the time she reached, we 2 had finished our dinner and were too full to eat anymore. So end up SH only ordered her Omu Rice and a Yuzu Float. The Yuzu Float is recommended as the ice cream is not the usual Vanila ice cream, instead they use sorbet and it is really delicious. Yummy....
After dinner, we were all very very full and satisfied. Hence decided to do a little shopping so we went to Bugis Village. As usual Neo was the only one who bought many things... A little incident happened while we were there... Neo was walking in front, followed by me and lastly SH. Suddenly i realised SH was not ard me and i turn to look and found her standing there some way behind me stoned!!! I thought that her heels might have been stuck in a hole so i walk over to help her. But in actual fact is that she got cramp!!! Her feet hurts so much that she can't move a step. By then Neo already disappear from our sight so there's only me to help SH... Luckily Neo realised we not following her so she u-turn back. Haha.... SH's cramp is soooooo bad that she can't move, can't sit, can't bend... So she just stuck in the middle of the pathway and luckily it is quite late and most shops are closed and there are very few ppl walking past us so at least she is not really blocking ppl's way... So we 2 accompanied her to stand there and meantime Neo was attracted to a dress in one of the nearby store. So as usual she end up buying that $30+ dress. Haha.... The auntie of the shop is rather friendly and saw that SH having cramp even suggest SH to remove her shoes and do feet exercise. She even demo the exercise!!! Haha..... But SH is too paisei already so of coz she won't do it.. Keke... After abt 1/2 hr, finally she can move and we proceed to leave Bugis Village...
I can only say that this was a unforgettable trip to Bugis for all of us.... ^_^

I don't know whether am I too stress or what but this morning I had a very bad dream.... I dreamt that when i woke up to get ready for work, i looked into the mirror and i saw that i almost bald!!!!!!! I saw some hair on my head but with many patches of bald areas ard. I nearly fainted..... My goodness!!! It's really very scary... Imagine you only see your scalp with a few strand of hairs standing.
Is that a sign????
What a nightmare!!! Haha.....

Help to search for birthday present - 24th Nov 08
Yesterday my friend and i went to TM for lunch and also to shop ard. He is looking for a birthday gift for his "not-yet-to-be girlfriend". Haha... Howcome i say not-yet-to be leh??? Coz currently this girl is still attached and yet she is also seeing my friend almost daily but then my friend is still not considered as her boyfriend yet. I did ask my friend howcome he still put in so much efforts on this girl since she got bf. My friend said that upfront he dunno that she got bf coz my friend send her to and froth office almost everyday and they talk on the phone daily too. So if a girl got boyfriend, surely she won't spend so much time with another guy right??? Then is only when my friend want to ask her to be his girlfriend then he realise she got a boyfriend already. But then time & feelings spent cannot be reversed back just like that mah, so he is hoping that she will break and be with him. Next mth is the girl's birthday and she plan to see if her current boyfriend will have any actions or not (currently her boyfriend neglect her alot and she felt left-out) & if things still never improve she will break with that guy and be with my friend.
Alot of ppl sure will say my friend is stupid coz he is like a spare tyre but then relationship kind of things where got right or wrong? I can only say Love is Blind.... Personally I won't like such a girl coz i find that she is selfish... Just bcoz she felt that her boyfriend neglect her and there is a new guy in her life which shows care & concern, then she just hold on to both guys. Can't she just make a decision right away as to which one to choose??? Although that's my personal opinion, i still hope my friend will be happy so pray hard and see what's the outcome in Dec.
My friend wanted to get the girl a TarePanda plush toy coz she just threw away her old one. But then it is quite tough to find TarePanda stuff now, esp he wants the GIGANTIC one. Finally he managed to find one online (27" x 20") and it costs US$76.95!!! My goodness... I really hope this girl is worth the time and $$$ spent....

Celebrating Neo's Birthday - 21 Nov 08

Yesterday I'm on leave coz celebrating my dear colleague - Neo's birthday (in advance). Both of us decide to go to SIM for lunch and after that go to this new shopping mall, West Coast Plaza, to shop. Thank god there is a free shutter bus @ Clementi MRT to travel there, if not the 2 road idiots like us sure cannot reach there. Haha...
That day is really a day full of surprises.... When we reach there, less than 5 mins, N already target a Jewellery Shop. A guy serve us and follow us ard introducing their jewelleries and the surprise thing is Neo actually do reply him and really seems to be interested in the product and end up she bought a nice bracelet and even got 20% discount + free membership. Later when we left the shop, then she told me is bcoz the guy is gd-looking that's why she bother to even look at the products. Haha... Faintz... The even funnier thing is that guy's name happen to be the name Neo would like her future son to be named. My goodness........
The next surprise is just round the corner.... Neo was attracted by a pink mug at this Tully's Coffee. I was surprised to see 2 ang mohs standing outside the shop with the waiters surrounding them but we just ignore them and walk in to take a look at their mugs and bottles. But we did not buy and when we abt to leave the shop, this giantic ah moh stop Neo and said "Hey!!! Ur bag is Pink... It is the same colour as the bottle there." Then he just walked in, took the bottle from the shelve, and asked Neo to open her bag to put the bottle him. Haha... Imagine the shock of our lives.... Neo was totally in a great shock and keep saying "No. No. No.". Haha.. Actually she was worried that she will need to pay for it. Then that ah moh kept insisting to give her as a gift and one of the waiter explain that ah moh is their big boss. So finally Neo accept the bottle. Then that ah moh saw me and joked that too bad my bag is not pink.. But later still gave me a white bottle.. The 3 of us even took a pic together using his iphone and he said that we are his Singapore girlfriends. Faintz..... Thanks to Neo, i also earn a bottle FOC. I really think that ah mohs are really very generous... Just like that he gave away $36 worth of bottles to 2 strangers... Therefore, i really recommend everyone to drop by this Tully's Coffee at West Coast Plaza @ B1 but then d
un expect the same luck as both of us.. Haha......
After shopping at WCP, we went to Raffles City and I targetted a Kate Spade wallet. It cost $300 and i'm in a great delima whether to purchase it. I decided to start saving every mth in order to get my wallet. Pray hard it won't be out of stock by then. Hehe......I end up buying 2 pairs of Levis Signature skirts and a top as they were having promotion - 2 bottoms and 1 top @ $99. So those will be my CNY clothes. Keke....
Dinner we went to Joaquim together with EL. Actually there were supposed to be 5 of us meeting for dinner but the other 2 - EP and SH, were stuck in office. By 9+, 3 of us finished our dinner le but the other 2 still in office. So end up Neo and I decided to meet them at TCC @ Changi Airport instead. EL got other appt so nv join us for that. Hence the 2 of us took this very super packed bus from Suntec to T3 to meet the other 2. Unbelievable thing is that EP and SH only reached TCC at 11+ and ate their so-called dinner. Haha... Dunno is that dinner or supper le lor....
We gave Neo a bear as present (one she requested for). But i think that poor bear will end up be in her cabinet in total darkness for the rest of it's life. Haha..... We also gave her an ang bao coz $$$ is still more pratical. Haha... SH also bought a mug for her which i think is just right to match her new bottle given by her new ah moh "boyfriend". Keke...
Overall it is really an enjoyable day for all of us and i hope we will have more of such gatherings. Tomorrow is Neo's actual birthady and i would like to wish her a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!". Stay cheerful and happy always..
